The NLBIA is the brain injury association of my home province of Newfoundland and Labrador (NL), Canada. It does a great job of helping as many as it can through a tough time! Through raising awareness and educating the public, the NLBIA aims to identify the needs and thereby improve the quality of life of brain injury survivors, their families, and friends in Newfoundland and Labrador.
This is a monumental task, to say the least, and the organization works hard toward these goals. Nevertheless, the times are what they are and, as with any non-profit these days, it has its work cut out for it. It’s difficult to fundraise now that physical distancing has become such an important aspect of our health and public life.
You can visit the NLBIA website or visit them on Facebook! The website has a handy ‘Donate‘ page, certainly a worthy cause!
