My guest for episode 15 of Concussion Talk Podcast is Kristine Miller, PhD and PT (physiotherapist), researcher, and Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.
Kristine Miller was one of the authors of, “Feasibility and results of a case study of yoga to improve physical functioning in people with chronic traumatic brain injury” a case study and article in the Journal of Disability and Rehabilitation.Â
The participants in the case study showed marked improvements in balance, balance confidence, lower extremity strength, and endurance. I talk to Kristine about the case study, brain injury and rehabilitation, and why she thinks yoga is so beneficial.
