In episode 11 of Concussion Talk Podcast I talk to Dr. Leodante da Costa, a neurosurgeon and scientist at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. Dr. da Costa received first round funding from GE and the National Football League’s “Head Health Challenge” to advance his brain injury research, focusing on the reaction of blood vessels in the brain to a head injury.
I first became aware of Dr. da Costa’s research when my sister sent me an article from Sunnybrook Magazine Fall 2015. Â
